Zotac Introduces GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition

Zotac has just announced another GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card. It is the the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition graphics card (model: ZT-P10810F-10P). It sits between the flagship air-cooled AMP Extreme and AMP Edition SKUs.

The AMP Extreme Core Edition will keep the same product design as the AMP Extreme, but will come with lower clock speeds. Those speeds are factory overclocked at 1607 MHz core, 1721 MHz GPU boost, and 11.2 GHz (GDDR5X-effective) memory. This is compared to the 1645 MHz / 1759 MHz of the AMP Extreme and the 1480 / 1582 MHz of the NVIDIA reference clocks.

Besides the clock speeds everything is the same between this card and the original AMP Extreme, same cooler, same backplate, same lights, etc. The card is expected to have a slight drop in price compared to the original though.

About 10 years of computer experience. Been messing around with electronics since I was 5, got into computers when I was in highschool, been modding them ever since then. Very interested in how things work and their design.
