The Zotac GeForce GTX 770 Extreme Edition features a 12-phase (8+3+1) VRM design that makes use of noise-free chokes, conductive polymer and tantalum capacitors, three proadlizers (multi-phase capacitors), and International Rectifier PowIRstage driver-MOSFETs. The GPU heatsink uses a copper base to make direct contact with the GPU and features five 8 mm thick nickel-plated copper heatpipes that extend out into the heatsink. Two 92mm fans cool off the heatsink and the card has an aluminum shroud.

The card has clock speeds of 1150 MHZ core, 1202 MHZ boost and 7.20 GHz memory (effective). The beefy cooler can handle these overclocked speeds. There is a dip-switch that allows you to enable LN2-friends OTP mode, which will disable NVIDIA’s limits and enable you to overclock the card even higher.
