When you power your system on you’ll notice that the Zotac logo on the card lights up. This is the only lighting on the card. By default it is white, but you can go into the FireStorm software and change the colors and effects.

Zotac’s FireStorm software is actually pretty good. When you open it up you have a main screen that shows the current GPU clock and memory clock on one side, and the GPU temperature and fan speed on the other side. Right in the middle you have the ability to adjust the clocks, power limits, and temperature targets. You can also save and load profiles.

If you click on SPECTRA at the top it bring up the lighting settings for the card. Here you can choose the color of the lighting from 7 different preset colors, set an effect, and set the brightness. The effects include static, breathing, strobe, and cycle. You can also turn the lights completely off.

The software has built-in monitoring as well. You can monitor the GPU core clock, GPU memory clock, GPU temperature, GPU utilization, and memory utilization.
