Xbox Live Booed at Quakecon by PC Gamers

Quakecon 2014 was held over this past weekend and is one of the largest PC-centric conventions / LAN parties in the US. I’m not sure why Bethesda thought it would be a good idea to talk about Xbox Live in a room for a PC gamers, but as one might expect they got booed.

During the opening presentation of the show Bethesda’s public relations front man Pete Hines took the stage to talk about some deals and promotions that the company was showcasing for the Quakecon weekend. Some of these promotions included Xbox Live deals, which when even mentioned got quite the reaction from the mainly PC gamer crowd. The video below was captured from the Twitch.tv live stream of the event.

Again talking about a non-PC platform and a mainly PC convention was probably not the best idea. Of course we know how loyal and hardcore the PC Master Race is.
