NexStar WiFi Overview
The NeXStar WiFi Hard Drive Dock looks pretty much like any of the previous NexStar hard drive docks. Actually, almost all hard drive docks look the same. Vantec has gone with white on this dock, which looks really good. On the front of the dock there is a centrally located power button and LED bar that will show hard drive activity as well as WiFi activity.
You hard drive is installed at the top of the drive. This dock does support both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch hard drives as well as SATA 6GB/s drives. On the top of the dock towards the right is a release button.
On the back of the dock there are only two connections, power and USB 3.0. The dock uses the larger USB 3.0 connector. There is also a reset button that will set the WiFi back to the factory defaults. On the bottom of the dock are 4 rubber feet that will keep the unit from moving around on your desk.
