Regardless of what you do or even where you are from I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of Star Wars. The original movies were so revolutionary and the newer ones brought the franchise back to life. With the popularity of the Star Wars franchise you would expect there to be all kinds of Star Wars related products, but this is one of the first time I’ve seen Star Wars themed USB Flash drives. Today I will be looking at the Darth Vader USB Flash drive from Tyme Machines. Let’s see if it turns me to the dark side…

Packaging
The flash drive is in the typical retail blister pack that we are used to seeing most flash drives come in. The front is clear so you can see what the actual drive looks like. On the back of the package you can see what other Star Wars themed drives Tyme Machines offers. They have Boba Fett, Yoda, and a Stormtrooper.
Darth Vader Flash Drive Overview
Getting the flash drive out of the packaging we can see that it is just a little bit bigger than a normal flash drive. It is just under 3-inches tall and just over an inch wide. Here it is compared to a normal flash drive and the Kingston MobileLite G2 that we just recently reviewed.
The figure has a very cartoony look to it as the head is almost as big as the entire body itself. The detail on it is not super-detailed, but you can clearly see the control pod on Darth Vader’s chest and his belt. No doubt from far away you could definitely tell that this is a Darth Vader figurine. The head comes off to reveal the USB connector.
