Tt eSPORTS Poseidon Z RGB Gaming Keyboard Review

Testing
The first thing I always test with keyboards that offer NKRO mode is if actually works. Using Aqua’S KeyTest we are able to see what key presses are actually recorded. For our test I hit the A-F keys, H-L keys and the spacebar all at once. Without NKRO enabled only seven of the keys are actually recorded.

Now we enable NRKO mode and we can see that all of the key presses are recorded.

Now the fun part of testing a gaming keyboard is actually gaming! I have been using this keyboard as my main keyboard for about a week now. In that time I have been playing games like Payday 2, Grand Theft Auto V, Team Fortress 2, and Warframe. Previously my primary keyboard was the Cougar 600K gaming keyboard, which has Cherry MX Blue switches. So the first big difference I noticed using the Tt eSPORTS Brown switches was that they were a lot quieter. I actually liked this, it was a nice change. They still have an audible click, but it is not nearly as loud as the click from Blue switches. The keys have a very comfortable feedback and I knew I was not missing a keystroke at all. For playing fast-paced games the keyboard size is actually really good and I did not miss my wrist rest at all.

I also have been using the keyboard to write all of the recent reviews and news on ThinkComputers and I have to say the way the switches feel make me a much better typer. Just as I said when gaming I feel like I’m not missing a keystroke at all. It is just very comfortable and fluid typing experience.
