Tt eSPORTS CRONOS Gaming Headset Review

Testing
The testing methods we will use today are going to cover everything from gaming to Music as well movies. We do understand that the TT sports CRONOS headphones are marketed towards gamers but we would like to cover all bases of audio. I will be testing it with and without a sound card. The sound card we used for testing was a Creative X-FI Titanium. I was using the CRONOS headset while I was testing out the TT eSports VOLOS mouse. Today we will be covering a few different areas of Audio. The microphone, music and of course gaming.

Here is a shot of the CRONOS logo lighting up.

Microphone
While testing out the microphone I did not have any issues. In TeamSpeak 3 and also Ventrilo, everyone was able to hear me clearly. I did have to give the microphone a little boost in the control panel as it was a little on the low side. Other than that the microphone is great.

Music
Over the course of the past few weeks I have been using the CRONOS. While working and hanging out around the desk I tend to listen to music. The CRONOS was tested with and without a soundcard while listening to various different types of music. There was not a noticeable difference between the two. The good thing was that the sounds of the headset were great for a stereo sound headset. The bass and vocals proved to be good. I also was able to take the CRONOS on a few walks and used the straight headphone cable. There was no change in sound quality at all while using the other cable.

Gaming
Over the past few weeks I have been fully engaged in Battlefield 4 Beta, as well as my other normal set of games. While testing out CRONOS I played Smite, Battlefield 4, League of Legends as well as CS:GO. First and foremost I will say that this is one of the most comfortable headsets I have used in a long time. The ability to game for long periods of time without having to remove and let my ears adjust and cool is invaluable. I was more than happy with the sound quality of the CRONOS while playing games. It fared better while using a soundcard in the gaming test, as it helps get better positional awareness and sound. There was not mixed sound issues or drowned out sounds. Using TeamSpeak or Ventrilo while gaming there was no conflicting issues with audio. Most headsets I have used in the past bleed audio a little bit together and makes it kind of hard to hear people talking while playing games.
