Final Thoughts
I think that Tt eSPORTS has a real winner in the Contour. It seems to be one of the better mobile controllers out there. The thing that really sets it apart from the other mobile controllers out there is that it is a full-size controller. So many mobile controllers out there are tiny, which makes them hard to use and really uncomfortable at times. With the Contour it is just like using an Xbox controller. The joysticks are full-size too and have a nice rubber coating on them.
As far as the number of buttons and controls the two joysticks, D-pad, 4 main buttons, and 4 buttons on the top of the controller are more than enough, even for the most complicated mobile game. The controller really was a joy to use playing games like Lego Star Wars, War Tortoise, and Real Racing 3. I think that I will actually start to play more games on my iPhone now because I have the Contour! I am heading to a trip tomorrow and it is already packed!
Now to be picky Tt eSPORTS could definitely improve the Contour. It is mainly made of plastic, which not exactly super comfortable for long gaming sessions. It would be nice to have rubber grips and better construction overall.
Sadly so many mobile products use real batteries that you need to replace, but not the Contour! It has a lithium ion rechargeable battery which you can charge using the included USB charging cable and any USB charger. The controller has a sleep mode feature in which it tuns itself off after 10 minutes of inactivity, which is nice in case you forget to turn it off.
Right now the Contour is selling at our favorite online retailer for $79.99. That price may seem a bit steep, but this is one of the best mobile controllers out there! Overall ThinkComputers gives the Tt eSPORTS Contour Mobile Gaming Controller a 9 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
