Star Wars Battlefront no doubt is a beautiful game already, but Martin “Toddyftw” Bergman’s Toddyhancer graphics mod is looking to take things to the next level! He recently posted screenshots to Imgur showing off this mod in action and I have to say the screenshots look like stills taken directly from the Star Wars Films!
At this point we only have the screenshots, so we have to take the quality of them on faith to a certain extent. The mod makes everything ‘pop’ by oversharpening. This is build 2 of the mod, screenshots from build 1 can be found here. Now this in-game sexieness does come at a price though, Bergman estimates that running the mod will cut 30-40 FPS off your current frame rate. That is quite the performance hit, so this mod will be limited to very high-end hardware.
There is no word when the Toddyhancer mod will be publicly available for Star Wars Battlefront, until then here are a few more screenshots.
