Thermaltake Max 5G USB 3.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure Review

External hard drive enclosures have been around for quite a long time, I can always remember having one around to use as a backup or storage drive.  With USB 3.0 becoming pretty much standard on all new motherboards new enclosures like Thermaltake’s Max 5G take advantage of the super fast speeds on USB 3.0.  This new enclosure from Thermaltake features a super fast USB 3.0 connection, dual 80mm active cooling LED fans and support for SATA I, II and 6GB/s drives up to 2TB.  Let’s take a look…

Opening the box up everything inside is nicely protected.  Inside you will find the Max 5G enclosure, USB 3.0 cable, power adapter, hex screwdriver, HDD spacing pads and a installation guide.
