Thermaltake Announces the Armor A30i Case

The Armor A30 is back in action with its variant of the Armor A30i, which is a cubical inspired case for PCs, recently introduced by the Thermaltake Company. The Thermaltake Company Ltd is a name well known in the field of power supplies, PC casings and the best cooling solutions as its tagline ‘cool all your life’ goes a long way.

The idea originated from the original Armor A30 which was introduced by Thermaltake in the year 2010 and the company later on decided to build on it looking forward to getting a much more improved and revised version out of it. The need for technological solutions is a constantly driven need affected directly by the continuous changes and hence it is important for all manufacturers to keep up. With their newest big release of the Armor a30i, the company promises to provide customers with durability and reliability.

The Armor A30i measures 291 x 456 x 266 mm and allows opening up from all four sides; the rear, the top and the sides. The weight of the entire case, made from a combination of steel and ABS plastic, is 5.9 kg. The motherboard tray, which easily pulls out with the rear panels, hosts the micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboard types.

There are many components which form part of the PC casing and are easily detachable just like the motherboard tray. These include the PSU bay and the drive cage which has the ability to hold two drives of 5.25 inches, two drives of 2.5 inches and one 3.5/2.5 inch drive. There is a secondary cage too which will allow the housing of a few more 3.5/2.5 inch drives. For ventilation and prevention of overheating, the case includes a 200 mm top exhaust along with a pair of rear exhausts of 60 mm. for connectivity, the front panel of the case features two USB 3.0 ports and audio jacks.
