Thermalright has announced a new series of CPU coolers specifically designed for AMD Ryzen (socket AM4) builds. The series is made up of two different coolers, with the only difference being the color of the top-plate. The ARO-M14G has a grey top-plate, while the ARO-M14O has a “Ryzen Orange” top-plate.
Both coolers are heavily based on the company’s HR-02 Macho Rev B cooler, but of course only support the AM4 socket. These coolers also have an embossed Ryzen logo on the top-plate and come with thermal paste pre-applied.
The cooler is designed as a thick single-tower cooler with a aluminum fin stack that is offset from the base for additional memory clearance. There are six nickel-plated copper heatpipes that come out from the base in a “U” fashion and go up into the heatsink. There is an included TY-147 A 140 mm fan which spins between 300 – 1300 RPM.
Thermalright says the cooler can handle thermal loads up to 240W. No word yet on pricing.
