Tesoro Gram Spectrum Gaming Keyboard Review

Usage & Final Thoughts
I have been using the Gram Spectrum for about 3 weeks now and I really like it. When it comes to actual gaming the new Agile switches matched with slim keycaps is pretty interesting to use. For me I could definitely tell the difference between using the Gram Spectrum and another mechanical keyboard with normal-sized keycaps. The switches have less travel time, so you actually spend less time pressing down on the key before it registers. Now the is time difference may be very small, but when it comes to gaming it can make all the difference.

The Gram Spectrum is also a great keyboard to type on. I of course do a lot of typing writing reviews and news for the site and the slim keycaps make typing very enjoyable. It would be very interesting to test the version of the keyboard that has the blue switches as they over the best of both worlds for people who want to game and also do a lot of typing.

The low-profile design of this keyboard is what really sets it apart from most gaming keyboards. At first glance you wouldn’t even think this a mechanical keyboard, let alone a gaming keyboard. I do like the slim design and the keyboard does look really good on your desk.

The other thing that is different about this keyboard is that it is white. Tesoro offers the Gram Spectrum in both white and black versions, but I would definitely go for white. The white really looks cool and makes the RGB backlighting pop! The Gram Spectrum offers individual key RGB backlighting. There are also different lighting effects that are programmed into the keyboard.

The keyboard allows you to remap and create different macros for each key, so you have quite a lot of customization options. The included software is pretty easy to use, although we feel Tesoro could have done a better job on it.

Right now you can pick up the Gram Spectrum at our favorite online retailer for $139.99. That price puts it at the higher end of gaming keyboards, but we feel that price is fair based on the quality and features you get with the Gram Spectrum. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Tesoro Gram Spectrum Gaming Keyboard a 9 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
