Overview
Starting with the TH Pro, the headset uses a lightweight closed ear cup design. The headset also features an adjustable cushioned headband wrapped in leather like material.
The ear cups are circumaural, covering your entire ear. The cushion material is the same that is used in the headband and has sufficient padding. The drivers are covered by a soft felt as well.
The microphone is attached to the left ear cup, and is a uni-directional flexible design. Also attached to the left ear cup is the 6.6ft USB cord with in line volume and mic controls. The in line control features volume up and down, volume mute, and microphone mute buttons for easy access. There is also a bright blue LED to indicate the headset is plugged in. The TH version features the exact same USB cord and in line controls.
Like the TH Pro, the TH features a very lightweight design. The adjustable headband design differs in that it uses a flat leather like material with 2 plastic arches above that act as a brace. The TekRepublic name is printed along the headband.
The microphone placement and design is identical to the TH Pro version. The ear cup design is closed like the TH Pro, but they are attached to a hinge that allows the headset to be folded. The same soft padded material is used as well.
