Tesoro Gram SE Spectrum Gaming Keyboard Review

About a year and a half about we took a look at Tesoro's Gram Spectrum mechanical gaming keyboard. This keyboard was extremely solid, offered mechanical key switches, and a slim keycap design. The new Gram SE Spectrum from Tesoro features Tesoro's new optical switches, the same ones we saw on the Excalibur SE Spectrum. These switches use infra-red technology, which is twice as fast as traditional mechanical switches and offers advanced dust and spill resistance. Also since these switches do not have metal components, like traditional mechanical switches, there is no regular wear and tear from constant contact, which allows for a longer switch lifespan. Are you looking for a faster response than your mechanical keyboard to enhance your gaming skills? The Tesoro Gram SE Spectrum might be for you! Let's take a look...

Tesoro Zone Balance Gaming Chair Review

Ah the gaming chair. To be honest when I first saw these coming out I thought they were a gimmick. I mean why do you need a racing style gaming chair to be comfortable sitting at your PC? There are many companies that have been in business for quite a while making office chairs so why all of a sudden do we have all of these new companies springing up making gaming chairs? Is it just a fad? Are they looking to cash in on the popularity of the gaming industry? Or do these gaming chairs offer something different than the normal office chairs we've been using for 10-15 years. Well today we are taking a look at our first ever gaming chair, the Tesoro Zone Balance, which is also Tesoro's firs gaming chair. We mainly know Tesoro for their keyboards and mice so it will be interesting to see their take on a gaming chair. Let's jump in and see what it is all about!

Tesoro Excalibur SE Spectrum Gaming Keyboard Review

A little over 2 years ago we took a look at Tesoro's Excalibur Spectrum Gaming Keyboard and we quite satisfied with it as it received a 9 out of 10 score. Today we have another Excalibur Spectrum keyboard from Tesoro, but it is their Excalibur SE Spectrum. The big thing that separates this keyboard from the original is that it makes use of new optical switches. Designed in conjunction with Gateron the Tesoro optical switches use infrared senors as opposed to metallic contact you would find in mechanical key switches. This design should give you precise actuation and a response time of 0.1 ms. The Excalibur SE Spectrum is the first keyboard Tesoro is outfitting with these new switches. This keyboard also offers per-key RGB backlighting, spill-resistance, and even individual hot-swappable keys. Let's take a look and see if this keyboard can compete with all of the mechanical switch keyboards out there...

Tesoro Gram Spectrum Gaming Keyboard Review

Last year we took a look at our first product from Tesoro, the Excalibur Spectrum Gaming Keyboard. We were really impressed with it and now they have sent us their latest keyboard, the Gram Spectrum. The Gram Spectrum is unlike many gaming keyboards as it offers a low-profile design. It features a new mechanical gaming switch that is meant to compete against Cherry MX's latest Repidfire switch, low-profile keycaps, RGB backlighting, and software that allows you to customize everything. We've never reviewed a low-profile keyboard that was made for gaming so this should be pretty interesting, follow along as we take a look at the Gram Spectrum from Tesoro.

Tesoro Excalibur Spectrum Gaming Keyboard Review

Tesoro is a new company to us here at ThinkComputers. Founded in 2011 the company primarily focuses on gaming peripherals and devices. I would say they are most known for their gaming keyboards and today we are going to be taking a look at one of their latest, the Excalibur Spectrum. The Excalibur Spectrum has a very simple keyboard design, but it jam-packed with features. First you have mechanical key switches (Kailh), you can choose between browns, reds or blues. The keyboard is also fully backlit with RGB backlighting so you can really mess around with the colors and customize it how you want. Tesoro also has some awesome lighting effects that you can use to show off the keyboard. On top of that the keyboard has full N-key rollover, built-in memory to store up to 200 macros and 2000 keystrokes in 5 gaming profiles, multimedia keys and a very solid design. Let’s jump in and see what this keyboard can do!
