AMD Radeon Pro Duo Will Officially Launch April 26th

AMD officially unveiled their dual-GPU beast the Radeon Pro Duo back on March 15th, but it has not actually been officially launched. According to Hardware Battle, who has been quite spot on with leaks lately says that the Radeon Pro Duo will launch officially on April 26th. This is when it will be available in stores for purchase, although reviews might be out before that. So you will know performance before you decide to sink $1499 into the card.

AMD Teases The R9 Fury X2 Again

AMD has been teasing what they call 'the world's best VR solution' over the past few weeks. This time they are at it again partnering with the Associated Press, sending them a bunch of dual-GPU powered VR gaming machines. Remember it was only a couple of days AMD teased the Falcon Northwest Tiki Gaming PC, which is also said to have the R9 Fury X2 inside.

XFX Is Preparing A Custom Radeon R9 Fury

It looks like XFX will join the likes of ASUS and Sapphire with their own custom Radeon R9 Fury graphics card. The card from XFX will feature a reference Fury PCB with two 8-pin power connectors, but will have a custom cooling solution. The custom cooling solution is made up of a massive heatsink with multiple heatpipes and three fans.

AMD Officially Announces the Radeon R9 Nano Graphics Card

We have been talking about it all week and now it is finally here! AMD has officially announced the Radeon R9 Nano Graphics Card! So let's just get right to it with the specifications of the card. The Radeon R9 Nano comes with a fully-configured Fiji GPU with 4096 stream processors, 64 ROPs, 256 TMUs, and 64 compute units. The card comes with 4GB of HBM memory directly on the GPU itself. The GPU clock can boost up to 1000 MHz and the memory is locked at 500 MHz / 1.0 Gbps for up to 512GB/s bandwidth.

AMD Radeon R9 Nano is 30% Faster Than The GTX 970

It is a day before the release of the AMD Radeon R9 Nano and more information has been released on the card. We now know that it features the full 4096 stream processors as its more powerful brother the Fury X. That is quite impressive as the TDP of the card is only 175W. We now know that the R9 Nano has better performance than the R9 390X, NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 970, and quite possibly the GTX 980. Since this is a compact card AMD decided to compare it against the GeForce GTX 970 Mini-ITX card. The result was that it was 30% faster!
