Throughput Performance (LAN, 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz)
To test throughput of the router we are going to use the Advanced Network Test that is part PassMark’s Performance Test benchmarking software. We will be running both TCP and UDP performance tests over IPv4. We will be running the tests at a fixed block size 16348 Bytes first and then again at a variable block sizes ranging from 32 Bytes up to 16384 Bytes. Each test is run for 5 minutes. We will be testing LAN performance, 2.4 GHz wireless performance, and 5 GHz wireless performance.
