Overview
The Super Talent Luxio offers some of the highest capacity flash drives out on the current market. With drives ranging from 16-64GB the Luxio Series is by far one of the most expensive high capacity flash drives available. The Luxio is available in three different colors: silver, black, and wood grain which we received for this review.
The Luxio is certainly not a compact flash drive as it measures at about 77mm, or about 3in long. The external material is only composed of a somewhat cheap plastic material, which doesn’t seem like it would hold up well to a lot of damage, which is probably why Super Talent has included a leather case with the drive. The word Luxio is placed at the bottom of one side of the flash drive and is plain on the other.
The drive size and maker, however, can be found on the thing metal strip surrounding the side of the flash drive. The words Super*Talent are found on one side while 64GB is found on the other.
The cap, composed of the same material as the base, comes off with a tug, but unlike more recent flash drives, there is no place to attach the cap. I would think that with a more expensive drive they would have implemented some way to hold the cap or even not include a cap, but I guess that is why it is a Luxury drive.
