SteelSeries Releases Rival 110 Gaming Mouse

Today SteelSeries released their Rival 110 Gaming Mouse. This “universal grip” mouse is designed with pure performance in mind, and backs that up with a no-frills feature set. The Rival 110 features six buttons in a standard layout; Left and Right, Forward and Back on the left side, scroll wheel, and CPI, each of which can be customized via SteelSeries Engine Software. The optical sensor found on the Rival 110 is the TrueMove1, a 7,200CPI unit from PixArt, which can be adjusted from 200-7,200 CPI in increments of 100.

Moving past function and on to form, the Rival 110 also includes RGB lighting for both the SteelSeries logo on the palm rest, as well as on either side of the scroll wheel. These lighting zones can be customized via the SteelSeries Engine Software package, and are also compatible with PrismSync to ensure all of your SteelSeries gear is in sync.

The Rival 110 is available now, with an MSRP of $39.99, putting it on the low end of the gaming mouse price spectrum. While this price zone is typically filled with mice from brands you have never heard of, it has recently become a target for well known brands to foster brand loyalty from new gamers.
