Speck PixelSkin HD iPhone 4 Case Review

PixelSkin HD Overview
We received the black version of the PixelSkin HD but it also comes in purple, blue and pink.  The PixelSkin is a single-piece case as many cases are these days.  The name PixelSkin probably comes from the pixel-like blocks that make up the backside of the case.

At the top of the back of the case you have an opening where the camera lens and flash is.  There is also a small Speck logo towards the bottom of the case.

Speck covers up the volume up and volume down buttons with their own, we saw this on their GeoMetric case.  There are openings for the mute slider as well as the headphone jack.  Speck also uses their own power button.

On the bottom of the case you have openings for the speakers and iPhone dock connection.  Compared to the earlier iPhone 3 PixelSkin the PixelSkin HD is less bulky and has a matte finish rather than a rubber finish, which I do like.

Installation
Getting your iPhone 4 in the PixelSkin HD is quite simple.  First place the left side of the phone in the case first then pull the case over the rest of the case.  You may have to push a little hard, but it will fit around the case.
