Skylake CPUs Coming to Intel Compute Stick and NUC Products

Intel will be upgrading both their Compute Stick and NUC solutions with Skylake processors starting in October. Around this time we will also see companies like ECS, ASUS, Gigabyte and ASRock launch similar solutions as well.

Intel Compute Stick

The new Compute Stick will have 4GB of memory, 64GB of storage space and support for Ultra HD resolutions. There will be two variants, one that features the Core M3-6Y30 processor and will ship with Windows 10, and a second that features the Core M5-6Y57 vPro processor and will not come with a pre-installed operating system.

In November Intel is expected to launch two Skylake-based processors codenamed Swift Canyon, which are designed specifically for the NUC segment. So expect a NUC refresh around this time as well.
