SilverStone TD03-E Liquid CPU Cooler Review

Final Thoughts
Taken as a whole the TD03-E and it’s siblings are fantastic AiOs. There is nothing on the market that we have tested at ThinkComputers that has as nice of a fit or finish. After testing so many generic feeling units I can fully appreciate the beauty in design that the TD03-E demonstrates. As well as being built from quality materials and looking fantastic, the cooler comes with a great selection of accessories allowing for multiple installations and different fan configurations. The installation is a breeze aside from the trick of installing a radiator in push/pull. As for performance, while it is true that we easily hit the limit of what the unit can do cooling wise it does perform basically on par with other 120mm units utilizing radiators of a similar thickness. And to answer the question we posed in the introduction; if you are looking for a cooler that will fit in a smaller space and provide adequate but perhaps not amazing cooling, look to the TD03-E to really bring a touch of class to your case.

My biggest disappointment with the TD03-E is in the pricing. While I was thrilled with the pricing of the TD02-E; at it’s cheapest this unit will cost you $81.99 after a $5 rebate. This means that for only $8 more you can have a unit with a radiator that is twice the size. Additionally and again, I would have liked to see some software included with the unit offering fan speed control and maybe a color adjustable LED.

Overall ThinkComputers would like to give the TD03-E a 9 out of 10 score.
