SilverStone Raven RV04 Case Detailed

SilverStone’s Raven cases have been pretty impressive to say the least. The are very unique and make for a great gaming machine. Today we have the first pictures of the upcoming Raven RV04 case. Big changes on this case is the 90-degree clockwise-tilted motherboard tray in the RV03 has been replaced with an upside-down BTX-style motherboard tray. Also a noticeable change is the more curvy concave front panel. There is a ton of room inside, you can fit CPU coolers as tall as 165 mm, PSUs as long as 180 mm, and add-on cards as long as 337 mm, and as tall as 170 mm. The case does support ATX, E-ATX, and SSI-CEB motherboards. There are seven 3.5-inch hard drives bays (2 of which can support 2.5-inch drives) and two 5.25-inch drive bays. On the right side of the case you will find two USB 3.0 ports and audio connections. As far as cooling goes there are two 180mm intake fans as well as a 120mm rear fan.

The case is made of SECC steel and ABS plastic. It has official measurements of 219mm (W) x 581mm (H) x 497mm (D) and weighs in at around 24lbs. There will be two versions available. One with a opaque side-panel (SST-RV04B), and one with a clear acrylic window (SST-RV04B-W).

SilverStone is expected to make an announcement May 11 in which they will discuss pricing and availability.
