SilverStone Preparing Two More Strider Gold S Series Power Supplies

SilverStone is planning to release its newest series of power supplies and the work has been started on the project. They are looking forward to unveil not only one but two models of power supplies which will form part of the Strider Gold S Series. These two variants have been tagged as the 750 W SST-ST75F-GS and the 850 W SST-ST85F-GS.

Both the models have the exact same measurements of 150 mm (W) x 86 mm (H) x 150 mm (D). Most of the prominent specs are common in both the models and they both feature a fully modular design. There is an active PFC, a MTBF of 100,000 hours, a single 12V rail, and a low-noise fan of 120 mm. the 80 PLUS Gold certification for both the 750 W SST-ST75F-GS and the 850 W SST-ST85F-GS ensures that there will be 90 percent efficiency in their performances. Most of the power supplies are prone to fall prey to fluctuations in voltages and currents and this is where their main test is conducted. To avoid any shocks in such events, the power supply models include over current, over power, over voltage, over temperature, under voltage and short circuit protection. With power rates of 750 W and 850, they are smallest “full modular” power supplies which are available in the market at the moment. The power supplies which include the same specifications as these two models are available in versions which are 180 mm deep whereas these models are 150 mm only.
