SilverStone Intros Argon AR07 & AR08 CPU Coolers

SilverStone has just made some new additions to its Argon line of CPU coolers. These include the AR07 and AR08. The larger of the two is the AR07 which has official dimensions of 140mm (W) x 50mm (D) x 159mm (H), including its fan and weighs in at 453 g. The cooler has a single tower design with an aluminum fin-stack that has wavy “diamond edge” patterned fins designed to increase air-flow/turbulence.

This design allows SilverStone to keep fan speeds and noise low. There are three 8mm-thick copper heatpipes that draw heat directly from the CPU up into the fin stack. The cooler comes with a 140 mm fan that does 800 – 1500 RPM and pushes 93 CFM of air. As expected the cooler supports all modern sockets on both the Intel and AMD side.

The smaller AR08 has official dimensions of 92mm (W) x 50mm (D) x 134mm (H) with fan, and weighs in at 285 g. The cooler also features a single tower design and fin design similar to its larger sibling. There are three heatpipes that make direct contact with the CPU.

It has a smaller 92 mm fan that spins at speed of 1500 – 2800 RPM and pushes up to 49.5 CFM of air. It supports all modern socket types. SilverStone did not release pricing on either cooler.
