Scythe Ninja 4 CPU Cooler Review

Final Thoughts
As I said in the introduction of this review Scythe’s Ninja coolers have been among the company’s top of the line coolers and the Ninja 4 is no different! It is rock solid in terms of performance and currently holds the #1 spot in cooling performance on our new test bed. This cooler should be able to handle all of the high-performance processors out there and many 24/7 overclocks as well.

Being such a large cooler I was a little worried about how installation would go, but after getting the Ninja installed it was quite easy. The included instructions were very easy to follow and included large illustrations showing you exactly what to do. It is also nice that Scythe included the long screwdriver as many people might not have a screwdriver that would work. You would be surprised that some companies do not include screwdrivers for installation of their coolers.

Now if you have memory that has larger heatspreaders you might not be able to install the fan on the front of the cooler. Luckily you are able to install the fan on the back or either of the sides of the cooler. Also Scythe does include an extra set of fan clips if you wanted to install a second fan for improved performance.

I really like this cooler and it is definitely a cooler I can recommend for anyone who is looking for a high performance CPU cooler. Right now you can pick it up at my favorite online retailer for $52.95, which is about $20 – $30 cheaper than Noctua’s high-performance coolers. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Scythe Ninja 4 CPU Cooler a 9 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
