Not that long ago we told you that you were able to unlock your RX 460 to gain more performance. After performance testing it showed with the unlocked GPU you gained about 12.5% in performance. Unlocking the GPU was done with a custom BIOS, which was not covered under warranty.

Well now you don’t have to worry about flashing your BIOS or not being under warranty. Sapphire has now released a fully unlocked RX 460! The Sapphire card which is based off the Polaris 11 GPU has 1024 stream processors and 4GB of GDDR5 memory. The card comes clocks at 1250 MHz, with the memory at 7 GHz (GDDR5-effective). With that the card has a TDP of 75W, which is supplied through a 6-pin connector.

The card has a dual-fan cooler design, which we’ve seen from Sapphire before. Sapphire is targeting the sub $150 price range with this card.
