Samsung Unveils ATIV Q Dual-Boot Convertible Tablet

Good news for Samsung Tablet users. Recently at the Samsung Premiere 2103 in London the giant Korean company unveiled its convertible, dual boot tablet capable of running both Windows 8 and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean called the ATIV Q. Samsung had already planned to launch a notebook display in the market which resolution was expected to be better than the Apple Retina services. Well for the curious, ATIV Q is exactly using the same display, boasting a 3200×1800 qHD+ screen resolution.

This device is capable of being used in 4 different positions or setups i.e. tablet, typing, stand and writing. The 13.3 screen has non-reflective glass for outdoor use and according to Samsung it offers 178 degree viewing angle. The hybrid ATIV Q also includes S Pen support. It is powered by Core i5 Haswell processor which has the ability to give a battery life of up to 9 hours. Pretty impressive!

Other features comprise of Intel’s HD graphics 4400 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 128GB SSD storage, USB 3.0 and 2.0 slots, Ethernet and SD card slot and weighs only 2.84 pounds. An added advantage is that switching between the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and Windows 8 does not require any restart or reboot, only pressing start button will do the job. You can even tag your Android apps on Windows 8 start screen.
