Reeven Okeanos CPU Cooler Review

Reeven Okeanos CPU Cooler Overview
The Reeveen Okeanos is a pretty large CPU cooler, but definitely not the larges that we’ve seen. The official dimensions of the cooler are (W)140 x (H)163 x (D)135mm. The cooler features two fans; a 140 mm (center) and a 120 mm (front). Both of these fans have yellow fins, which has been Reeven’s style since we were introduced to the brand back in 2012. The reason why Reeven has gone with a smaller fan at the front of the cooler is to make sure you have proper clearance for RAM.

Taking a look at the top of the cooler you can see that Reeven has gone with a pretty cool design. If you have a window in your case this is what is going to be shown out.

Taking a look at the side of the cooler we can get a better look at the two heatsink towers. The heatsink towers are made of aluminum and should really help with heat dissipation.

The towers are actually designed to fit a fan on each side so if you wanted you could add a third fan to this cooler and Reeven even includes the fan clips!

Reeven has gone with a pretty interesting design with their heatpipes. Typically we see the same diameter heatpipes on CPU coolers, but out of the six copper heatpipes the outer four are 6 mm while the inner two are 8 mm. These heatpipes go through the base of the cooler and go up into heatsinks in the “U” design.

Talking about the base of the cooler it is nickel-plated copper and has a great finish to it with no visible machining marks. This will make for great contact which means better heat transfer.
