Raijintek AURAS 12 RGB Fans Review

Raijintek AURAS 12 RGB Fans Overview
As I mentioned this is a 3-pack of the AURAS 12 with the controller, so we have three 120 mm fans. It looks like you are also able to pick these fans up in 2-packs, but without the controller.

The fans have an all black frame with clear smoked fan blades. The fans feature a hydraulic bearing and operate at 1200 RPM, with an airflow of 39.8 CFM, air pressure of 0.61 mmH2O, and a noise level of 24.8 dBA.

On each corner of the fan you’ll find rubber pads, which will minimize movement and noise when installed in your system.

There is a single cable that comes off each fan. This is a proprietary 6-pin cable that is made to be used with the included controller box. This means that you will not be able to connect these fans to a typical RGB header on your motherboard.

The RGB LEDs on the fan are inside of an O-type tube that goes around the frame of the fan. This also acts as a diffuser for the fans. The top and sides of the fan are open, exposing this O-type tube.

The controller / hub is a pretty basic unit. It has connections for the three included fans, and three buttons on the top, which are “Speed”, “Lock”, and “Mode”. Sort of bummed there are not any extra connections if you wanted to add a 4th or 5th fan to the controller.
