Project Spartan Included in Latest Windows 10 Preview Build

Microsoft has rolled out another new preview build of Windows 10. This new build will give users their first taste of Microsoft’s new web browser, Project Spartan. As we talked about before Microsoft will be slowly retiring the Internet Explorer brand and Project Spartan, a brand new browser will take over.

Microsoft Project Spartan

You will see Project Spartan if you are on the “fast ring” of the Windows Insider program in Windows 10 Technical Preview build 10047. For those who are on the standard build cycle you will have to wait a few weeks to get your hands on the new browser.

This is the first time user will be able to get their hands on Project Spartan and check out some of its new capabilities like the brand new rendering engine, support for Cortana (Microsoft’s Digital Assistant) and pen integration. Microsoft does warn users that Project Spartan is far from complete though.
