PrimoChill Praxis WetBench Review

Usage & Final Thoughts
Once you have your Praxis WetBench all setup with your hardware installed you are good to go and start your benching. For us we are mainly going to be using this test bench for testing Z270 motherboards, so our main concern was being easily able to switch out the motherboard and of course support for our AiO. With the Praxis WetBench you definitely have that.

First off the entire motherboard tray is removable, and can be taken off and put back on with ease. This allows us to take it off, remove the motherboard and easily get our new motherboard on there. It also makes it so we have a flat surface to work with, rather than the angle that the board is set at once you put the tray back on the board. The radiator mount is also completely removable and works on the same type of system as the motherboard tray. So you can easily switch out radiators or all-in-one CPU coolers.

One interesting thing about this test bench compared to others is that the the motherboard tray sits at and angle rather than being flat. This gives you access to everything on your motherboard and makes removing things like your graphics card much easier. And it really displays your hardware and looks damn cool! Another really useful feature is that you have handles on each side, which makes picking up the bench and moving it extremely easy.

There really is not much to not like about the Praxis WetBench. If there is one thing it would be the price. The WetBench is currently selling for $184.99 at our favorite online retailer as well as directly from PrimoChill. On top of that it costs another $26 for shipping, bringing the total cost to $210.99. That is quite a lot to put out considering most PC cases these days are around the $100 range.

At the end of the day this is the best test bench I’ve ever used. It seems like PrimoChill has thought of everything and has made the ultimate test bench, and one that is completely compatible with watercooling components. If you are ok with the cost we would highly recommend the Praxis WetBench, it just has so much more than other test benches out there. Overall ThinkComputers gives the PrimoChill Praxis WetBench a 9 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
