PowerColor is showing off their recently announced Radeon R9 295X2 Devil13 at Computex 2014 this week. While most R9 295X2’s are liquid cooled with AMD’s reference cooler Power Color has gone with their own massive triple-slot air cooler.
The triple-slot cooling solution makes use of aluminum fin heatsinks for each of the two GPUs, a baseplate that cools the bridge chip, VRMs and memory and three 100 mm fans. Each of the fans can be tweaked individually. The card gets power by way of four 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors.
The card features two different BIOS’s, one is “Performance” and the other is “Quiet”. The guys over at TechPowerUp! said even with all the show floor noise at Computex the card was still audible in “Performance” mode. That means it is definitely going to be a loud card when you are gaming. PowerColor has said that they are working on getting the card quiet.
