Phanteks PH-TC14CS CPU Cooler Review

Testing
Our test system is comprised of the following items…

27

Processor: Intel Core i7-3820
Motherboard: ASUS P9X79 Pro
Video Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 560 Ti DirectCU II TOP
Memory: G.Skill RipjawsZ DDR3-2133 16GB
Power Supply: OCZ Fatal1ty Series 1000W
Storage: 750GB SATA II Drive
Cooling: Phanteks PH-TC14CS
Case: Cooler Master Cosmos II

We will be using Prime95 64-bit edition to put a full load on our CPU.  Temperatures were recorded with the temperature sensor built into the ASUS PC Probe II software.  Idle and load tests were taken an hour apart from each other.

Interestingly enough when using the Y-connector one of our fans did not function at all, but when not using it both fans worked perfectly fine so we will be using that method, which puts the fans at 100% (1300RPM).  Here are the results of our tests.
