Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Case Review

Conclusion
The reality of the Luxe can be found right in it’s name. It is a deluxe model. For this reason what we are really looking at is not a comparison of this case to every other case on the market in it’s price range. We’ve already done that with the Pro model and we gave it a 10/10, it’s a phenomenal case. What you really need to ask yourself is whether the Enthoo Luxe is worth the additional cost over the Pro. So let’s just take a minute to take stock of what your hard earned money will get you, because just like buying a car, getting those extras is going to cost you. First and foremost you get a lot more metal. Where the Pro chooses plastic the Lux is almost always a metal. Like the Primo you get easier access to the top of the chassis through the well designed fan filter and a more stylish front panel. And beyond the original Primo you actually get more lighting and LED color options.

The only thing lacking from the Primo really is it’s size and for many that isn’t a bad thing. After all smaller is getting bigger in the PC world these days. With the Luxe we found some disappointing finishes in the thumbscrews, but we have a feeling a call to their support department would get those replaced without a fight. The other problem being some sticky residue that can be cleaned off with just a little effort.

Overall there is a $50 price difference for the Luxe bringing it to $150 USD. Is that worth it for what could essentially be called a cosmetic accessory package?

We definitiley think so, ThinkComputers.org would like to award the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe a 10 out of 10 score!
