Patriot Ignite 480GB Solid State Drive Review

We have not seen a new solid state drive from Patriot in a while. Over the past couple years they sort of took a step back from the SSD industry and focused more on flash memory products and mobile accessories. Well it looks like they are back full a line of solid state drives. Today we will be taking a look at their Ignite drive, which sits at the top of the pack. This drive is powered by the Phison’s latest S10 controller and offers sequential read and write speeds of 560 MB/s and 545 MB/s respectively. The Corsair Neutron XT drive, which took home a perfect 10 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award is also based on the same Phison S10 controller so we are expecting good things from the Ignite. Will it perform? Read on as we find out!

Special thanks to Patriot for providing us with the Ignite 480GB solid state drive to review.
