OCZ Vertex 32GB Solid State Drive Review

[ad#review1019-top]It sure seems like everyone is coming out with SSD drives, interestingly enough we have not seen that many from the big hard drive manufacturers. More and more and we are seeing them from memory companies like OCZ. Today we are checking out one of their latest SSD drives the Vertex series. The Vertex series is based on the Barefoot SSD controller from Indilinx, which makes it different from the previous 2 SSD series from OCZ, the Apex and Summit. This will only be our second SSD review here at ThinkComputers, so let’s take a look…

Opening the retail box up inside we find the drive nicely protected and inside an anti-static bag. There is also an installation guide.

About 10 years of computer experience. Been messing around with electronics since I was 5, got into computers when I was in highschool, been modding them ever since then. Very interested in how things work and their design.
