OCZ Shows Two RevoDrive 350’s in RAID That Put Out 3.7GBps!

At Computex 2014 OCZ was showing off their next generation PCI-Express solid state drive, which is the RevoDrive 350. The drive has a PCI-Express 2.0 x8 bus interface and several SSD subunits which make up a RAID 0 array, which is bootable.

OCZ says that these drives will have sequential transfer speeds of up to 1800 MB/s with 4K random access throughput of 140,000 IOPS. These are figures for the 480 GB and 960 GB variants, the 240 GB version will be a bit slower at 1000 MB/s and 80,000 IOPS.

To show off the true power of these drives OCZ set them up in a soft-RAID using two of the drives. Running them through some of the most popular synthetic benchmarks the drives scored as high as 3752 MB/s in one test! That is some serious speed!
