NZXT Vulcan mATX Case Review

Final Thoughts
Once again, NZXT has come out with another quality case.  They have provided an amazing, high end computer case with the intention of making the mobile gamers happy, and they’ve succeeded greatly. I was very pleased with the carrying handle and the light weight material of the Vulcan. Even with a full system in the case it was still light weight and compact to carry around. The fan controllers are a cool feature to the case. The orange LED top fan was a nice touch but would have been nicer if it included a second top orange fan or even if customers were the option of being able to get some more orange LED fans. If you wanted to get this case I would recommend either getting some replacement 140mm fans for the top of the case or to leave the LED light off.

With the room provided in the NZXT Vulcan you would think it was normal ATX case, not a micro ATX. There is space to install two hard drives on the side rails on the bottom, another two hard drives right under the 5.25” bays and STILL have room for 2 large graphics cards like the ATI 5970’s. The Vulcan also comes with a CPU cutout on the motherboard area to allow you to easily install the newer aftermarket CPU coolers. All in all the NZXT Vulcan is a fantastic buy for the money, especially if you are a person who frequently goes to mini LANs or travels the country to bigger LANs. I know I’ll be rolling in style with one at the next big LAN on the east coast, Pittco.

Right now you can find this case online for around $69, Which is a very reasonable price for the Vulcan.  Overall ThinkComputers gives the NZXT Vulcan an 9 out of 10 score.  Go pick one up and try it out for yourself.  You won’t be disappointed.
