Packaging
Such a huge part of a case arriving to your doorstep as the manufacturer intended is based on the packaging. It also serves as an on shelf advertisement depot for those shopping in store. The S340 Elite comes in a good sized box, about medium for a case box, that has a matte purple and white color scheme. On the front of the box is a large photo of the case built up with a fully matte black scheme, NZXT logo in the upper left, and product name in the center of the bottom. There is both purple and black text and the subtle and modern scheme looks nice. If we turn the box 90 degrees to the right we find a matte purple background over which the full feature set and specifications are listed in white. Below, the feature set is listed in 10 alternate languages.

Another 90 degrees gets us to the back of the case featuring another large photo of the case with a full build inside. One final turn shows four images showcasing the S340 Elite’s main features.

The top is closed simply with clear packing tape, cutting it open the case is found inside held between two large pieces of foam and enclosed in plastic. The whole assembly can be removed by pulling up from both sides of the foam packaging. Removing the foam bits we find that the whole case is in fact covered in a large plastic bag.

Removing the case from the bag we found that everything is in great shape without any flaws either from manufacturing or from shipping. The final bit of shipping protection, found on the full tempered glass side panel is a sheet of cling plastic that peels right off to showcase a flawless piece of glass.
