Testing
There’s nothing really out of the ordinary about installing the NZXT HALE82 750W. You shouldn’t need to connect too many modular cables to the PSU unless you’re running more than your average run-of-the-mill machine.
To test the power supply we ran OCCT’s PSU test for a 30 minute interval, running at fullscreen (1920×1200). Here are the results:
3.3V
5V
12V
All of the rails had a very low ripple, which something you don’t see every day. Each of the rails were very steady and were all under a 1% ripple. The 3.3V only had 0.03V (0.95%) ripple, the 5V had 0.02V (0.48%) ripple and the 12V only had a 0.11V (0.88%) ripple.
