NZXT Avatar S Gaming Mouse Review

Avatar S Overview
The Avatar S comes in 2 different colors, we received the white version, but it also comes in black.  The 2 things I really noticed right off the bat was how the Avatar S was not that heavy at all and how skinny it is.  For the most part gaming mice are a little heavier, but this one is not at all.  Also it is much skinner, so if you are used to larger mice this might not be the one for you.

The left side of the mouse curves in to give you a good grip on it.  There is a single long button on the left side as well as a NZXT logo that will light up when the mouse is powered on.  You will see that later in the review.

On the top of the mouse you have your left click and right click buttons as well as a scroll wheel.  The 2 main buttons sit up above the mouse a little to really give you that “click” feeling when you press them.  The scroll wheel is made out of rubber and has a good feel to it.

The right side of the mouse is exactly like the left except you do not have the NZXT logo, you do have the another long button though.  This gives you a total of 5 buttons (left click, right click, scroll wheel click, left button and right button).

On the bottom of the mouse in the center you have the 1600 DPI laser sensor which can be switched to 800 and 400 DPI.  It also has a tracking speed of 30-inches per second and acceleration up to 20G. You will also find 3 Teflon feet on the bottom of the mouse, 2 towards the front and 1 large one towards the back. The mouse connects to your PC via USB and has quite a long cable so reaching your tower should not be an issue.
