NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Z Delayed Again

NVIDIA was supposed to launch their high-performance GeForce GTX Titan Z graphics card this week, but we have not seen any reviews, any release from NVIDIA or seen the card hit retail shelves. As many people have guessed the card has been delayed once again. According to GDM.OR.JP the card has been delayed indefinitely.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Z

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Z is NVIDIA’s Dual-GPU solution featuring two GK110 cores. It was planned to launch on April 29th, but was then delayed till April 8th. Many people are saying the delay is because of drivers, but we are not sure what the cause of the delay is.

This card is made to compete with AMD’s dual-GPU R9 295X2. Could it be that the card did not match up that well and NVIDIA went back to tweak things? It has been suggested that NVIDIA might give the card a pre-launch clock speed boost to help its performance against AMD’s card. Remember that the Titan Z will sell for $2999 and the AMD R9 295X2 is half of that at $1499.
