NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Spotted At Computex!

Computex is a great show for new hardware, but it looks like a product that has not been announced yet has been spotted, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760! It is of course the little brother of the GeForce GTX 770 that was announced last week. It looks like the card was at a vendor booth at Computex.

We were actually expecting a GeForce GTX 760 Ti release at Computex, but we might see the GeForce GTX 760 first as the photos prove it exists and vendors already have samples. The card that was spotted was from AIB partner Gainward. We do not have specifics on specifications of the card, but the box shows that the card has 2GB of GDDR5 memory running across a 256-bit interface and supports PCI Express 3.0 x16. Reports say that the GTX 760 will be based off the GK104-225 A2 core architecture.

NVIDIA has used their NVTTM cooler on the GeForce GTX 780 and GeForce GTX 770, but it looks like they will be using their older blower style cooler on the GTX 760 card. The higher-end cooler is not needed as the card would not be putting out as much heat as the other cards. Of course no word yet on an exact announcement date, but expect one very soon!
