NVIDIA Could Be Working on a GTX 1050 with 3GB Memory

According to rumors that originated from Expreview, NVIDIA is working on a new variant of their GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card. This version will come with 3GB of memory onboard. The additional memory could possibly increase the graphics card’s performance in certain situations.

Although, Expreview does speculate that NVIDIA could reduce the memory bus to a 96-bit bus instead of the normal 128-bit bus. If this were to happen the actual performance of the 3GB model could be even lower than the normal variant. I guess we will have to see when the time comes. Just like the 5GB version of the GTX 1050, this card will likely be exclusive to the Chinese market.
