Nitro Concepts S300 Gaming Chair Review

Nitro Concepts S300 Overview
With the chair all put together it really looks awesome! We went with the Horizon Orange version of the S300 but it is also available in six other color variants so I’m sure you’ll be able to find a color scheme that you’ll like. The first thing I noticed about the S300 before I even got it put together was that the outer material was not leather or faux leather, but fabric. Fabric definitely has a much more different feel and is more breathable than leather or faux leather.

The orange accents on the chair are more towards the outside edges whereas the center of the chair is black. On thing that I really liked was that the orange is continued at the base of the chair, I don’t think I’ve seen that before.

The main parts of the chair have a steel frame and use cold foam inside. Nitro Concepts tells us that the S300 was carefully designed in Germany with gamers in mind. The cold foam will be a little stiff at first, but will adjust to your body over time.

The S300 comes with both a head and lumbar support pillows. Both are completely optional to install, but I would highly recommend using them. The lumbar support pillow can be moved up and down for the best position on your back. Both pillows have a fabric cover, which actually feels really nice. The head pillow has the the Nitro Concepts flame on it and the lumbar pillow has the full logo on it.

Coming down to the wrist rests Nitro Concepts is making use of “3D” wrist rests. These wrist rests allow for movement up and down, back and forward, and you can even angle them in or out. All of those movements except up and down can be done by just moving the wrist rest with a little pressure. If you want to move them up and down there is a lever under the top of the wrist rest.

On the right side of the chair you’ll find your controls. The top lever adjusts the angle of the backrest and the bottom lever will adjust the chair up or down.

As far as height adjustment goes you can move the chair from 48 cm off the ground to 61 cm off the ground. I feel like this should be more than suitable for most desks. The backrest can be moved from 90 degrees all the way back to 135 degrees, so you can really lounge in this chair if you want. For those wondering the chair supports up to 135 kg or just under 300 lbs of weight.
