Not only is Epic Games working on the free-to-play Unreal Tournament, but they have a new game on the Horizon called Paragon. A new trailer was released yesterday showing off one of the playable in-game heroes, Twinblast.
The trailer really only shows the Twinblast hero and not much more. The quality and detail in the character is amazing though. Each hero will have a set of different abilities that can be unlocked in-game. For example Twinblast has Reverberate, Injured Rage, Bounty Stalker, and Merciless. Epic Games already has a sign up for the beta of the game and they will be revealing a new hero each week (Steel, Sparrow, Dekker and Grux are coming).
We are not sure what type of game this is going to be. It could be a MOBA game as they are releasing information on heroes. It could be a shooter based on the Twinblast hero. It could be a mix of both, who knows. Sign up for the beta so you can get access as soon as possible.
Paragon is expected to be released sometime in 2016.
