The Mini-ITX form factor has been extremely popular lately since it is so compact, but still offers great features. MSI has introduced three new LGA1150 Haswell mini-ITX motherboards that are basically the same, but they will be running on different chipsets. These motherboards include the Z87I, B85I and the H87I.
The Z87I and H87I are basically identical motherboards. The offer VRM cooling, 802.11 b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth 4.0 and 8-channel audio. The Z87I is based off the Z87 chipset so you will have support for CPU overclocking. The B85I does not have the VRM heatsink or wireless connectivity card. Instead you have an empty mPCIe slot where you could install a WiFi card you purchase separately. Also the 8-channel audio is cut down to a 6-channel solution. All three boards feature Gigabit Ethernet, a PCI Express slot, DVI and HDMI outputs and USB ports.
So the Z87I will be ideal for gaming and enthusiasts systems, H87I for media systems and HTPC builds and B85I for compact and office systems.
