MSI GeForce GTX 780 LIGHTNING Flagship Graphics Card Pictured

In advance to its launch, shots of MSI GeForce GTX 780 Lightening graphics card were leaked on the web showing a very powerful design, not most of the competitors are offering. Apparently the delay was not because of the last minute, in fact the teasers which were posted few weeks ago; actually showed the real image of the graphics card.

To begin with, the Triple Force architecture possesses Triple Level Signals, TriFrozr cooler and Pure Diginal PWM Control. MSi is using a total beast like new cooling solution, called the TriFrozr.

The Twin Frozr V Cooler is actually the TriFrozr. As the name indicates, it includes three fans in contrary to its previous versions. This cooling system combines huge compound of dual-fin stack heat sink, which gets the heat access through seven 8mm thick heat pipes, along with three fans, two large 100mm ones on the sides and the 70mm one in the centre. The fans can controlled individually, even the speeds are adjustable over software.

Coming down to its Triple level Signals feature, is basically a LED load indicator, which has distinguished load on the basis of light. For instance, heavy load: red, medium load: blue and light load: green.

The card comes with a back-plate, which retains a new black version of GPU Reactor. It is powered by Dual 8-pin connectors while display output has four gold plated display outputs: dual DVIs, one HDMI and DisplayPort.

For maximum noise reduction it is equipped with 20-phase digital PWM voltage regulation, which makes use of the combination of high current chokes, DirectFET chips, International Rectifier PowIRstage, MSI’s GPU Reactor module and tantalum capacitors that minimizes the electrical noise.
